A Dieter Rams-style internet radio — tuning dial, six presets, and a VU meter that actually moves
A tribute to vintage Braun audio equipment, rebuilt as a working internet radio.
Beveled chassis, a knurled volume knob, and a bank of six presets tuned to real stations — hip-hop, ambient, jazz, electronic — via SomaFM. The VU meter isn’t decoration; it’s reading the actual audio in real time through the Web Audio API. There’s a sleep timer for when you inevitably fall asleep to it. A three-way theme toggle switches between a warm cream Braun-catalog light mode and the moodier dark mode below.
